     Mr. Dennis Wilson has been with the Missouri S&T Teacher Education Program since the Fall 2004. Mr. Wilson's teaching assignments include Education 040, Perspectives in Education; Education 216, Teaching Reading in the Content Area; Education 251, Historical Foundations of American Education; and Education 280, Teaching Methods and Skills in the Content Areas. His education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Southwest Missouri State University, a Masters in Education degree from Boston University, and an Education Specialist in Administration degree from Kent State University.
     Mr. Wilson brings a wealth of education and experience to the program. Following twenty years in the U.S. Army, he taught at Rolla High School before assuming duties in the St. James R-1 School District as a Principal. Following a brief stint in business, Mr. Wilson joined the faculty in the Teacher Education Program.
     No stranger to the Missouri S&T program, Mr. Wilson has served on the Advisory Board of the program since 1998 and worked with many student teachers in his role as Principal of John F. Hodge High School in St. James.
     Mr. Wilson has four grown children and one grandson. His wife Lynn is a former elementary classroom teacher and is currently the Librarian of Lucy Wortham James Elementary School in St. James.
